CDL-A Dedicated Truck Driver – Average $1,658 a week
Now hiring immediately! Dedicated drivers enjoy the many privileges that come with having consistent customers. This permanent full-time position gives you a better idea of the number of miles and hours each week holds, which means you’ll have a better idea of what to expect in every paycheck. And because you know your customers and their typical freight load, you’ll never be surprised or slowed down by unusual shipments.
- Competitive pay:
- Average $1,658 per week/$86,216 per year
- Start at .60 cpm
- Reaching top pay of .62 cpm within 12 months
- Average 1,850 miles per week
- Unloading pay is .185 per case which could average $360 per trailer
- Average $15/ week for tub pick up (tub/ container that holds the small merchandise)
- Company sponsored per diem program
- Average $1,658 per week/$86,216 per year
- Home weekly
- Dispatches Sunday afternoon through Monday noon
- Sunday dispatch gets home on Friday; Monday dispatch gets home Friday evening or Saturday morning
- Drivers take pre-loaded trailers in Lebanon, TN and deliver to Cracker Barrel stores (merchandise, not food)
- Solo drivers cover the Eastern half of U.S.
- Drivers typically run 2 routes per week
- Runs vary throughout the week
- Merchandise for each store is divided by a bulkhead; freight is not all mixed together
- Must set up ramp and two-wheel freight into the customer’s storeroom (most stops take 1+ hours to unload)
- All drivers will ride with a Dedicated Averitt driver on this account for the first week to ensure a complete understanding of the customer’s processes and procedures. This will be paid at a flat rate of $1,000 for the 1st week only
- During slower months (January – July) if not needed on this account you will be expected to work at another supply chain site, this will allow you to continue getting weekly work
