CDL-A Dedicated Yard Switcher/Local Driver
Dedicated local drivers enjoy the many privileges that come with having consistent customers. And because you know your customers and their typical freight load, you’ll never be surprised or slowed down by unusual shipments.
- Competitive pay:
- Average $1,721 per week/$89,523 per year
- Starting pay is $25.90 per hour
- Top pay of $26.90 per hour reached after 60 days
- Average 54-64 hours per week
- Home daily
- Will need to work a flexible schedule which includes some days/some nights both during the week and on weekends
- Maintain trailer yard check throughout shift
- Ensure timely movement of trailers in and out of the docks on-site at the customer’s location- 90% of the time
- Occasional short day runs across town for off-site pick-up and deliveries
